One Minute of Everyday Praise Him
This is not the first time I’ve stepped out to begin my day and catch a view of God’s beautiful creation. It’s mornings like this that I get a glimpse of the Creator He is. I stop, take a picture, of course, take a deep breath, and praise Him for His goodness, presence, and provisions He has bestowed upon me. I have so much to praise Him for each day.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. (Psalm 28:7)
Did you know praise silences your enemy? When a child of God gives Him praise, the devil has no voice. As Christians, we are constantly surrounded by other voices. Some voices are encouraging and uplifting, while others are discouraging and can lead us astray. When we commit to serving God and stand firm in our faith and His Word, the devil has to flee. His voice is powerless in the presence of God.
Today, let’s choose to focus on the voice of our Savior, our Shepherd. STOP! Whatever you are doing, praise Him for His peace, hope, and direction for your day.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27)
