Servants of God
Are you clinging to something God is asking you to surrender?
When we make a decision or commitment, we are still in control, deciding what we will or will not do. Surrendering something to Christ means letting go of that control, trusting Him, and obeying His will. As His servants, we are called to say yes to whatever He asks of us. Often, we surrender to others’ expectations and opinions rather than serving and obeying God, which leads us into fear and pride as we attempt to solve life’s problems on our own.
Living a surrendered life to Christ brings us power, peace, and victory. What about you? Is Jesus in control? Are you holding on to something God is asking you to surrender?
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
