WHO ARE WE & OUR MISSION:
Friends of Faith & Fellowship, Inc. began hosting women’s events in 2022 and is now a nonprofit, tax exempt (501c3) organization established in May 2024. Friends of Faith & Fellowship aims to
encourage and inspire women in whatever season of life they may face.
Through small group Bible Study, resources, conferences, and special outreach events, we want to equip hurting, abused, and
broken-hearted women with God’s word to overcome everyday challenges and obstacles.
PAST and PRESENT FRIENDS OF FAITH & FELLOWSHIP EVENTS INCLUDE:
*Host quarterly evening events offering encouragement to women through special speakers and music.
*Partnered with Piney Grove Baptist Church/Community Day on Stoney Creek. This outreach provided backpacks, school supplies, clothing, and shoes for students in the community.
*Partnered with Vision Productions/Lamp Light Theatre/Billy Wayne Ministry to provide backpacks and school supplies for students in the community.
*Assisting Valley Forge FWB Church, Elizabethton, TN and Grace Point Fellowship, Kingsport, TN in providing Disaster Relief Teams with essential needs for the communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
*Monthly, we provide a meal and a message for the women at Recovering Soldiers Ministries, Elizabethton, TN.
2024-2025 FUTURE OUTREACH EVENTS:
*May 2025 we will be having a half day conference with Special Guest Speaker: Linda Goldfarb
*Spring fundraiser concert/event TBA.
*We will continue our monthly meetings at Recovering Soldiers Ministries, Elizabethton, TN
*Summer outreach in a rural community of Jonesborough, TN
2024-2025 FUTURE PROJECTS:
*Friends of Faith & Fellowship plans to partner with an individual or ministry to provide resources and professional counseling for women dealing with abuse and life altering struggles. Right now, we are seeking the right partnership that has the same goals and visions in helping women to gain complete healing and a healthy balance in dealing with life’s tragedies. We will work with Hope Again Counseling & Court Mediation in providing a list of
resources to be available for ladies in need of help in many different areas.
*LampLight Theatre will provide a room to meet that will feel safe and private for women seeking help. We will be in the process of painting, decorating, and setting up resources.
*Many Friends of Faith & Fellowship board members have either directed or attended mission trips to Africa or Guatemala. We plan to work with Be A Light Ministries/Jerri Cook in Malawi, Africa to help meet the needs for women whether by providing essentials needed or planning a mission trip.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
We have a responsibility to be faithful stewards and to maintain accountability and integrity in all aspects of our ministry’s finances and decisions. We have a Board of Directors that will meet as
necessary to approve the budget, review operational results, and review ministry accomplishments.
Our CPA manages all our finances and we are committed to use contributions faithfully and wisely to reach hurting and abused women with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
